I am a London-based documentary and portrait photographer and filmmaker. I love to shoot people in action, the places they inhabit, and the traces they leave behind. I seek out the little gestures, beautiful light, and happy juxtapositions that combine to elevate the ordinary.
Born and educated in London, I started work as a freelance photographic assistant in 2003, before I started to shoot for myself in 2011. I worked for a wide variety of photographers including Paola Kudacki, David Sims, Emma Summerton, Steven Klein, and Mario Testino.
I finished my debut short film, The Foley Artist in 2015. The film won Best Casting, Best Production Design, and Best Original Score at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival 2015. It also received awards in the Best Shorts Competition 2015 and the Australian Fashion Film Festival 2015 and screened at LSFF 2016 and TED 2016. The Foley Artist has been seen more than 630,000 times since it first screened on Nowness. I have since shot and directed a number of mini-documentaries that profile up-and-coming artists — offering a window into their work and life as well as directing various commercial projects.
